CHL5226H Position Description -Emergency Posting

This is a required course for MSc Biostatistics students, aimed at gaining sufficient understanding of the theoretical foundations of biostatistical methodology to be able to read literature of the field, interpret the results, make informed choices between methods, adapt existing methods to new applications, and correctly apply emerging methods.

Qualifications:

PhD student with a strong academic background in Mathematical Statistics, Probability and Calculus

Duties:

TAs responsibilities include marking assignments (4 in total) and exams (midterm and final), providing feedback to the students, preparing solutions to the assignments, and holding office hours before assignment due dates and exams.

Relevant Criterion:

The need to acquire experience is the more relevant criterion than previous experience in respect of this posted position.
