CHL5300H Position Description -Emergency Posting

This is an intense introductory graduate-level course in public health policy. The course has four key components: a set of required readings, self-directed research and writing for assignments, a small-group weekly tutorial, and a lecture-style overview of the weekly topics. The lectures are intended to provide summative explanation, context and illustrative case studies to further your understanding of the literature.

Qualifications:

Graduate student with familiarity with required readings (email A/Prof. Essue for list). Preference for those who have taken CHL5300H

Duties:

TA’s responsibilities include: a) assist in grading assignments; b) tutorial preparation; c) hold tutorials and office hours; d) other duties as assigned.

Relevant Criterion:

The need to acquire experience is the more relevant criterion than previous experience in respect of this posted position

Tutorial/Labs:

Thursdays: 3-5pm, 4-6pm & Fridays: 10-12pm
