CHL8010H Position Description -Emergency Posting
This course covers essential R programming and computational tools in health sciences research. Topics include data manipulation, data visualization, loops and functions, optimization, and package development with an emphasis on reproducibility and replicability. Weekly pre-class assignments and quizzes, which are multiple choice and graded automatically in Quercus. Most of the class time consists of group assignments with hands-on help from instructor and TA. Students will develop an R package for the final group project and give a short tutorial..

Qualifications:
Proficiency in R. Experience with Quarto and GitHub.
Duties:
TA’s responsibilities include: a) assist in grading assignments; b) tutorial preparation; c) hold tutorials and office hours; d) other duties as assigned.
Relevant Criterion:
Attend each class (Monday 10a-1p) to support students with in-class assignments. Assist in assessment of the final group project. Hold weekly virtual office hours.
